Fire Warden Training public course dates for February 2020 are now available from Firefect, the perfect training solution.
This course introduces participants to a variety of portable firefighting equipment commonly found in the workplace. It also instructs in the correct use of fire extinguishers, fire hose reels and fire blankets.
Participants will gain knowledge in how to recognise emergencies in the workplace, timely reporting of emergencies, knowing the appropriate action to take, raising the alarm and evacuating building occupants in a safe manner.
Fire Warden Training includes both theoretical and practical components, with participants gaining hands-on experience using fire fighting equipment under guidance from our experienced emergency services trainers.

Nationally Recognised Qualifications
Successful completion of the course and its assessment task will qualify the participants to receive a statement of attainment in:
- CPPFES2004A Identify types of installed fire safety equipment and systems
- CPPFES2005A Demonstrate first attack firefighting equipment
- PUAWER004B Respond to workplace emergencies
