HLTPAT005 is for those that work in collection centres, hospitals, clinics, other healthcare environments or in occupations that require the collection of samples for testing for drugs of abuse.
Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing will teach participants the how to collect urine, oral or breath testing samples in order to test for drugs of abuse and the correct procedures to follow during and post collection of samples.
This one-day course covers confirmation of collecting requirements, preparation for collection, collection of of specimens and correct post-collection procedures.
